Golling an der Salzach Vacation Packages

MONDI Hotel Bellevue Gastein was wunderbar! Everything was very clean including the guest rooms and common areas. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you do not speak fluent German, it is not a problem because all of the staff spoke English. We were there in mid September(off peak time) but there was still lots to see and do…in fact we didn’t get to do all we wanted to do in the 8 days! We really appreciated the Bad Gastein Mobility Ticket. It allowed us to travel all over the province of Salzburg, just like an Austrian, without having to rent a car. The Gastein Card was also a bonus for having discounts to a variety of Bad Gastein attractions and venues. We came for the hiking and the Hohe National Park is just a short bus ride away. The views are spectacular. After hiking we made use of the pool, whirlpool and sauna rooms at the Hotel. We partook of the buffet the evening we arrived and the food was excellent. We also really enjoyed that we could make meals/snacks/beverages in our studio kitchenette because one of us must eat gluten-free. We used the very convenient laundry room twice. There is also an impressive workout room but we were too busy to use it. We recommended the MONDI Hotel Bellevue to family members who are avid bikers as biking is very popular here as well. Our whole experience has been so positive that we plan to come back.

The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and I appreciated the small kitchenette. Having a fridge, kettle, and coffee maker was a thoughtful and convenient touch. My main disappointment was the limited opening hours of the spa and gym, which close at 20:00. For me, one of the greatest benefits of staying at a hotel with a spa is being able to return after a day of sightseeing, have dinner, and then relax in the spa before bed. It is a wonderful way to unwind and prepare for a restful night. With the current opening hours, however, the spa really needs to be used before dinner. The last thing you want to do is get dressed again and head back out for the evening. Extending the spa hours would make a significant difference to the overall experience and, in my opinion, would make the additional cost much easier to justify. I unfortunately did not feel that I was able to fully enjoy the facility. Another consideration, particularly for summer visitors, is the lack of AC. This seems to be quite common in Austrian accommodation, but during warmer weather I would find it difficult to sleep comfortably without it. For a summer stay, I would recommend confirming that your accommodation has AC if this is important to you. Overall, the property has several nice features but the early spa closing time and lack of air conditioning are important considerations when deciding whether it is the right choice for your stay.

Amazing hotel in a wonderful little town. Staff are excellent, helpful, friendly and feel like family staying here. Beautiful facility with lovely spa right on a river with amazing Mountain View’s. Wish we stayed longer.

Great location to get to Hallstatt easy but not stay directly there. Great kitchen in the room to cook in.

The hotel in general was great, but the highlight was, of course, the spa. After a day of hiking, the feeling of resting in the outdoor hot tub, then swimming in the indoor pool, and finally resting yet again in the indoor HUGE hot tub, what can I say - that's the good life. Breakfasts were very good, and the dinners as well. The room was clean, quiet, well equipped, and we had free parking.
